The 2015 rookie class for the Jacksonville Jaguars continues to get bit by the injury bug. After losing first-round pick Dante Fowler for the year to a torn ACL, the secondary took a big blow with the loss of James Sample, the fourth-round pick from Louisville.
Jaguars rookie safety James Sample said Monday he will be sidelined 10 to 12 weeks with the broken right forearm he suffered in a fluke play at the team’s organized team activity (OTA) last Thursday.
Sample said he had a plate and two screws inserted before the arm was put in a cast last Friday and he will find out Wednesday if the plate will remain in his forearm.
The Jaguars might want to put T.J. Yeldon (RB) in bubble wrap for the rest of the off-season. Ouch.
